Primary 6 pupils had an amazing day at the UHI Stem Hub today.
This morning they learnt about the properties of light through lots of hands on experiments and discussions!
In the afternoon the children learnt about DNA and how family traits are passed through the generations. They then had the opportunity to extract DNA from a strawberry!
Lots of fabulous team work, behaviour, discussions, learning and an amazing science filled day! Well done P6 and thanks so much to the staff at UHI, Mrs Maclaren for her help and transport, and Steina for her assitance.
